It has a pronounced antipyretic and analgesic effect.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Pharmacokinetics<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Cetamol is well absorbed from the gastrointestinal tract and distributed to almost all tissues. The maximum therapeutic concentration in plasma is reached in 10-60 minutes. The therapeutic effect lasts for 2-4 hours. In therapeutic doses, paracetamol binds to plasma proteins in small quantities, and at high concentrations of the drug in plasma, it increases. The half-life is 1-3 hours. It is metabolized mainly in the liver and excreted in the urine as inactive metabolites.
